My favorite piece of technology

Imagen
Laptop. My favorite piece of technology is my laptop, it's a difficult decision, because I usually can not recognize anything as favorite, and even more if it is something technological. I have my notebook for a year and since then the way I work is very different, I can do anything in any place, I can bring it with me wherever I go, but even more important is that I can experiment with different ways to create projects or images, As well as research on referents and be updated day by day with what happens in the world or in the dicipline. My notebook gives me that feeling of independence and proactivity necessary to me, where I can advance my work whenever and wherever I want, and the freedom to expand my knowledge to where I am most interested.

Lina Bo Bardi

I want to tell you about Lina Bo Bardi, she was a architect from Italy. She was born in 1914 in Rome and died in 1992. At the beginning she studied in Rome in the 30's, where she installed her office of architecture in the context of the II World War, with this she had few works and disappointed of this, she moves to Brazil with her husband, an art collector called Pietro Maria Bardi. There in Sao Paulo they installed a collection of popular art that was dialogue of the Modern and the Popular. She liked people, so she wanted to make spaces for them, an unfinished space that was activated by common use every day. In 1950 he made his own house, "Glass house", a project that is used as a reference and today can be visited as a museum. In 1957 she realized the project MASP (Museum of arts Sao Paulo) And in 1977 he achieved the cusp with his best work, the SESC Pompeia, using a factory of barrels existing. I like Lina because she it is consistent with Brazil's cult...

This photo is very special, it was taken when I was 2 or 3 years old, it's funny because when I share this photo with someone, they do not believe me about my curly hair when I was a child, probably because they always remind me with short hair. The photo is from the Christmas period, I really like this month, not because of the Christmas itself, I like because this month we go south to visit my father's family in Los Angeles (VII region) where we all gather to share and spend time together. In these days I missed those meetings because I can not always go and my cousins too. From the family of my father we are the only that lives in Santiago, so when we go my uncle "moncho" does a insane roast where we all laugh and remember times like this photo.

I always loved animals, when I was 13, my mom gave me a little hamster called bicho, he was very elusive and sometimes we did not know where he was for a week ... or more. I liked to play with him every day when I came home from school. A few years later a baby dog came to our house, we called it chofa and the chaos began, she destroyed everything in her step including the sofa and my favorite jacket. When we moved to the new house one day a large dog came into our house, we did not know how, the name "rocky" was on his collar  so we call it that, chofa and rocky became very good friends, both are labrador, She is blonde and he is brown with a large white stain on his chest. In the photo appears chofa with a helmet and a very cool glasses.

Little introduction

Hello, my name is Emilio, I was born in Santiago 1993 and this is a small description of me. I lived in Maipú since I was born, but in 2004 I moved with my mother and my sister to Santiago centro, living a new experience, new school, new friends and new ways to discover the city. A few years later I started using my bicycle for everything, like finding different routes and places where I had never been before, building every day a biggest map of were I live,  and I think this fact is the most influential in me in the way I started to see things, the image is a view of santiago in the 30's, view from a corner of Alameda/Vicuña Mackenna.
